Fondant Basics: Caking for beginners.

We've all admired those beautiful fondant cakes, but if you've ever tried to recreate one yourself its not nearly as easy as it looks. In this completely hands on course we will be focusing on the art of preparing, covering, and decorating a cake in fondant. All materials are supplied & you be able to take home your very own 8' fondant cake at the end of the night.
Come & learn all my tips & tricks to recreate your very own creation that others will soon be admiring.
In this class you will learn:
The techniques learned will be used to finish a 8 inch layer cake that each student will take home.

- How to make & color marshmallow fondant
- How to torte & fill a cake
- How to buttercream & prepare a cake with straight lines are sharp edges ready to be covered in fondant
- How to roll out fondant using a rolling pin and fondant sheeter
- How to cover & smooth a cake in fondant
- About various fondant decorations, techniques and tools to decorate a fondant cake.
